Room 504, Friday Just After 2nd Period

Boys, Ino had decided, we bound and determined today to royally piss her off. Between creepy-Tyler, and Michael pointedly ignoring her in Chemistry, and then with Ichigo being hurt again and then having to shear sheep in Phys Ed…

…It was a foul temper sort of day.

“You,” Ino informed Ichigo sharply, as she opened the door to her room. “Are an idiot. Get inside.”

[For that boy she’s calling names. And he’s totally modded with permission.]

"As if I'd leave you unattended in my room," she said.

That made sense to her, really. She just skipping all of those intervening thoughts.

He placed the shirt beside him on the bed. His shoulder was wrapped as was his lower arm, but there were several bruises and scratches over his chest and back. And at his throat, the hollow had left behind the crescent shaped wounds from his nails.

"Fucking moron," she muttered, hands glowing green as she brought her chakra to them. "Get rid of the bandage on your arm."

She'd deal with that first.

"Getting injured doesn't make me a moron," he snapped, unwrapping his arm to reveal the long slash.

"Not going to see someone right away who can heal it does," she said 'sweetly' as she placed her hands over the slash.

"I didn't want to talk," he mumbled, glancing down at her hands.

She sighed, focusing on healing the slash.

"You know," Ino said, "if you ever really don't want to talk, and you show up injured like this, I'm not going to make you talk." A pause. "Well, right away."

She had to be honest.

He glanced up at her and his shoulders sagged, the defensiveness draining from his stance. "I'll keep it in mind," he said, still speaking softly.

"You'd better," she told him. "Or I'll get loud."

"You're always loud," he shot back instantly.

Inwardly smirking, because she preferred him arguing to him moping and talking quietly, Ino just raised her eyebrows.

"You stalking me now, that you know that for sure?"

"If I were you couldn't complain since you stole my shirt," he huffed at her.

"Stalking's a bit different from petty thievery," she noted.

"You just kidnapped me," he added instantly, upping the ante.

"Your turn next then," she said, fighting a smirk. "What'll it be then--murder? Or possibly... rape?" He wouldn't ever, she knew that.

Ino did enjoy making Ichigo flail, yeah.

He did more than flail, his shoulders jerking as he drew away. "Don't joke about that."

"You upped the ante," she said, frowning in irritation as she leaned over to heal another scrape, "I just followed along. I know you wouldn't."

"It's not funny," he growled. It wasn't when you had something drumming at the back of your head. Something that was capable of god knows what.

She eyed him. "Then it wasn't funny, and I fail at jokes. It's no big deal."

"Yeah, you do," he agreed, frowning.

"It's not a big deal, geez," she said. "I don't get why you're so wound up over it."

"Because you don't say a thing like that!" he snapped.

She shrugged. "But joking 'bout kidnapping is okay?"

"You didn't tie me up!" he pointed out, though he hadn't exactly come of his own volition either.

"I didn't," Ino agreed, "Just like you won't murder or rape me, so..."
