Room 504, Friday Just After 2nd Period

Boys, Ino had decided, we bound and determined today to royally piss her off. Between creepy-Tyler, and Michael pointedly ignoring her in Chemistry, and then with Ichigo being hurt again and then having to shear sheep in Phys Ed…

…It was a foul temper sort of day.

“You,” Ino informed Ichigo sharply, as she opened the door to her room. “Are an idiot. Get inside.”

[For that boy she’s calling names. And he’s totally modded with permission.]

"Because you don't say a thing like that!" he snapped.

She shrugged. "But joking 'bout kidnapping is okay?"

"You didn't tie me up!" he pointed out, though he hadn't exactly come of his own volition either.

"I didn't," Ino agreed, "Just like you won't murder or rape me, so..."

"Fine," he wriggled his fingers. "That feels better."

"It should," she said, smiling slightly. "Since I'm healing you."

As she went to heal another scratch. "Turn around." A beat. "Please."

That got a smirk out of him, but he shifted, turning his back towards her. "Manners don't suit you."

"But you listened," Ino pointed out, holding her hands over the first of the scratches on his back. "So clearly, it worked."

"Maybe I was just too startled not to," he suggested. He drew in a breath, aware of the strange feeling that came with the healing thing and he stared down at his arm where the slash had been.

"Does that mean I'll have to use my politeness all sparingly and such like so it'll only work when I really want it to?" She studied the lines of his back, unable, really, to help it as she was healing him.

He snorted and if there was the slightest movement into her hands, it was entirely unconsciously. "Probably," he agreed.

She smiled slightly as his movement made his back brush her fingertips. "I'll keep it in mind, now that I know."

Ichigo made a face. "I shouldn't tell you these things. You already have enough plans in your head."

[intraspective]

"This again?" she asked, deliberately sounding bored. "You know me--I don't plan."

"Plans, scenarios, tactics, whatever," he summed up. "Ninja have tactics."

"I personally like the word 'plot'," she noted, watching as another cut healed up. "But that might just be me."

"I'm unsurprised," he remarked dryly. His eyes drifted shut as the aches gradually started to disappear as Ino healed him up.

"Well," she said reasonably, "if you'd been surprised I would've thought you were utterly stupid, really."

"This attitude I'm more used to," he remarked and he reached up to the bandages on his shoulder. "Want me to remove these?"

"Yes," she said. "Do you prefer this attitude?"

"Haven't seen enough of the other one to decide," he shifted carefully to take off the bandages. The cut below wasn't as large at the one on his arm had been, but it was deeper.

She scowled at the cut, hoping she could heal it all, and placing her hands over it. "Does this mean you'll have to get a larger sample of my moods before deciding?"

"Looks like it," he agreed, not seeing the scowl since he was facing the other way. "What samples are there?"

"They don't come in bottles, or boxes," she said, watching the cut, "so you're just going to have to deal with my company, I guess, if you want to find out."

"I am dealing with your company, aren't I?" he shot back and turned slightly to glance up at her. "Or are you implying you don't see enough of me? You're not missing me, are you?"
