Room 504, Friday Just After 2nd Period

Boys, Ino had decided, we bound and determined today to royally piss her off. Between creepy-Tyler, and Michael pointedly ignoring her in Chemistry, and then with Ichigo being hurt again and then having to shear sheep in Phys Ed…

…It was a foul temper sort of day.

“You,” Ino informed Ichigo sharply, as she opened the door to her room. “Are an idiot. Get inside.”

[For that boy she’s calling names. And he’s totally modded with permission.]

"I thought that was supposed to be blondes," he lowered his hand to his lap and watched her curiously.

It was very exciting watching her drink water, or something. She leaned against the desk.

"Well, I've got that covered too," Ino grinned. "So maybe it's just you."

"Just me what?" he frowned at her. "Sit down."

"That has more fun as a brat," she said, frowning back at him. "What's wrong with me standing?"

"You look tired," he commented.

She looked rueful for a second, but wandered over to sit down on the bed. "And I thought I was doing well at not looking it."

"It's just because I'm paying attention," he reasoned and he quickly picked up the bandages to clear them away.

"To me?" That was almost teasing.

"No," he said dryly. "The plants. The were making leaf-gestures that you were tired."

It was a sign that yeah, she really was tired, that Ino found that hilarious and burst into giggles.

Ichigo was going to take that as a sign that he was funny, it was more flattering. He put the pile of bandages to the side and reached for his shirt to put it on again. "I don't see anyone else I'd be paying attention to."

She went to try and snag her fingers in his shirt, and grinned a bit. "I'll take that as a compliment."

"It at- Hey!" he protested, instantly pulling back and he hid the shirt behind his back. "Shirt thief."

"Maybe I just want to see you shirtless more," she said, letting herself lean over so she could flop down on her pillow.

"Should I take that as a compliment?" he asked and he glanced at the shirt, considering it.

"It is one," she told him. "But take it as you will."

He blinked down at her and maybe he'd just really did lose his mind when he faced the hollow, because he dropped the shirt and finally plopped down beside her on the bed. "I will then."

She blinked at him, mind processing the fact that half-naked Ichigo was lying down beside her on her bed.

"You can't have my pillow," she said, for lack of anything cleverer than that to say.

It was her fault. "Don't want your pillow," he told her.

"Good," Ino told him, "'cause I'd hate to have to beat you for trying to take it."

It was not!

She'd said she liked it. "Then you'd just have to heal me again," he pointed out.

She did, but she hadn't forced him this time around. "Then I'd fall over, flat on my face and you'd have a very unconscious bit of company."

"On the plus side," he mused. "I'd have a pillow."

"You'd leave poor unconscious me without a pillow?" She wibbled at him.

"I wouldn't take the pillow with me," he assured her. "So you'd still have it. I'm not a thief."
