Room 504, Friday Just After 2nd Period

Boys, Ino had decided, we bound and determined today to royally piss her off. Between creepy-Tyler, and Michael pointedly ignoring her in Chemistry, and then with Ichigo being hurt again and then having to shear sheep in Phys Ed…

…It was a foul temper sort of day.

“You,” Ino informed Ichigo sharply, as she opened the door to her room. “Are an idiot. Get inside.”

[For that boy she’s calling names. And he’s totally modded with permission.]

"You fight dirty," he told her, glaring up.

"You know it," she shifted her hand slightly, "and yet, you're still coming 'round."

"Clearly I hit my head hard," he replied and he shouldn't be that aware of the touch.

"Guess that means I'll have to heal that too, yeah?"

She wondered if he got that.

Probably not. "And how were you planning on doing that?"

"I'm sure I'll think of... something."

"You mean you'll plot," he corrected her, raising an eyebrow.

She laughed softly, ducking her head. "Maybe."

"Not maybe," he shifted to face her better as he was getting a crick in his neck like this.

"Such little faith," she teased, as he shifted, "or maybe a lot of it?"

He snorted. "Figure that out yourself."

"Brat," she chided, pulling her hand away. "So mean to your healer."

"She's a brat too," he pointed out as he reached up, tentatively touching his brow.

It was healed, and she was tired. Ino went for the bottle of water she had on her desk.

"Brats have more fun, don't you think?"

"I thought that was supposed to be blondes," he lowered his hand to his lap and watched her curiously.

It was very exciting watching her drink water, or something. She leaned against the desk.

"Well, I've got that covered too," Ino grinned. "So maybe it's just you."

"Just me what?" he frowned at her. "Sit down."

"That has more fun as a brat," she said, frowning back at him. "What's wrong with me standing?"

"You look tired," he commented.

She looked rueful for a second, but wandered over to sit down on the bed. "And I thought I was doing well at not looking it."

"It's just because I'm paying attention," he reasoned and he quickly picked up the bandages to clear them away.

"To me?" That was almost teasing.

"No," he said dryly. "The plants. The were making leaf-gestures that you were tired."

It was a sign that yeah, she really was tired, that Ino found that hilarious and burst into giggles.

Ichigo was going to take that as a sign that he was funny, it was more flattering. He put the pile of bandages to the side and reached for his shirt to put it on again. "I don't see anyone else I'd be paying attention to."
