Room 504, Friday Just After 2nd Period

Boys, Ino had decided, we bound and determined today to royally piss her off. Between creepy-Tyler, and Michael pointedly ignoring her in Chemistry, and then with Ichigo being hurt again and then having to shear sheep in Phys Ed…

…It was a foul temper sort of day.

“You,” Ino informed Ichigo sharply, as she opened the door to her room. “Are an idiot. Get inside.”

[For that boy she’s calling names. And he’s totally modded with permission.]

"Fine. Of course. I didn't think anything else," he said quickly.

That got a laugh. "See how the corrupt teenage boy denies everything!"

"I'm not corrupt! I meant just sleeping," he argued instantly.

"Half naked," she added helpfully, "in a girl's bed."

Ichigo sat up in a flash and reached for his shirt to pull it on again.

"I didn't mean to put your shirt on," Ino protested. "Just no sleeping."

"Yeah, but you think I'm a pervert," he pointed out as he tugged the shirt on.

"It's a joke, geez," Ino said, rolling her eyes. "You're so easy to fluster."

"You make me!" he shot back, which... wasn't that good of a come back at all.

"You might want to think a bit more than that before speaking," she said, giggling.

She had a point there and scowled at her, annoyed that she was right. "Whatever."

Ino grinned a bit. "And you are, just so you know."

"I am what?" he asked, having lost track of all the things she called him.

"Easy to fluster," she reminded him.

Better than being a pervert. "So you just think you should?" he asked, wondering if he should lie down again or not.

Yes, yes he should. "I don't really think 'bout it, honest."

"What do you think about?" he wondered and paused. "Never mind, I probably don't want to know."

"That's almost insulting," she told him.

"Why?" he asked. "It's not meant to be. I'd just get more confused."

"I think I'm just going to wind up confusing you no matter what, really."

He considered it. "Probably," he agreed, finally plopping down again. "So?"

"So why do you keep coming back for more?" And idle question mostly.

"Cause it beats being bored?" he replied. Like he knew.

That got a laugh and she wriggled to get a bit more comfortable. "Good enough of an answer, I guess."

"That's what you were thinking?" he wondered, because now he was wondering what went through Ino's mind. Mostly because he was sure he didn't want to know.
