Room 504, Tuesday Morning

Ino... had heard radio. Thanks a lot, radio.

Ino was now contemplating hiding in her room for the rest of the day just in case Temari-san had heard, and took offense, to what had been said.

It didn’t look much like she was hiding, since she had the door open and was ostensibly just doing a thorough check up on all of her many plants. She was honest enough with herself though to know that she was hiding. If Temari-san had really wanted to have words with her then a closed door was hardly going to stop her.

Just... staying out of Temari-san’s way sounded like a real good idea right about now. So that's what Ino was doing.

He scowled and then, because she was being an idiot, he turned and pulled open the closet. He would find his shirt, dammit.

Corruption, apparently, was going to get a good eyeful of a few kimono, some yukata, and a whole lot of dresses in various degrees of frilliness.

T-shirts, jeans, and such were there too of course, but nothing incriminating. Unless you counted the row of neatly folded shirts she'd kidnapped from Kabuto on the top shelf.

Tragic, really.

"See the teenage male open the closet," she continued in a stage whisper to her plants. "See him stare at the belongings of the vulnerable and innocent teenage girl."

"You are hardly vulnerable or innocent," he argued, standing on his tiptoes to see if his shirt wasn't on the top shelf.

It wasn't there.

"See how the teenage boy attempts, though badly, to justify his actions by placing the blame on the innocent and vulnerable teenage girl? Fascinating."

"Quit it," he grumbled, closing the closet's door with a thumb before he moved over to the bed.

"Now he approaches the bed on which the teenage girl sleeps," she said, leaning against the opposite wall from her seat on the spare bed. "What does he hope to find? What corrupt thoughts are running through his head?"

Ichigo plopped down on the bed, instantly stretching out, he made sure his feet were propped on the footboard. "Now he is bored, wondering if the girl is losing her sanity."

That got a laugh.

"The girl wonders if the boy thought she ever had much sanity to begin with."

"The boy has manners," he glanced at her across the room.

"The girl has them too," she argued back lightly.

"No," he reasoned. "She steals shirts."

"She also heals wounds and the boy never said she couldn't take the shirt."

"It's kind of implied that you don't take things unless it's said that you can," he shot back instantly.

"Ninja," she reminded him. "All's fair."

"So ninjas are without honour?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Some are," she said, shrugging. "Most of us got our own codes."

"Then not all's fair," he pointed out.

She ignored him.

Ichigo smirked. "Silence is agreeing," he told her.

"It is not!"

"Yes, it is," he argued and he wriggled, getting more comfortable on her bed.

She contemplated throwing a plant at him.

And decided he wasn't worth it.

"It's not. I was ignoring you 'cause you're too lame to pay attention to."

"Not lame enough that you won't steal my shirts," he told her. Or kiss him, he wasn't going to bring that up.

"Lame does not equal unattractive," she pointed out. "You should be shirtless more often."
