Room 504, Tuesday Morning

Ino... had heard radio. Thanks a lot, radio.

Ino was now contemplating hiding in her room for the rest of the day just in case Temari-san had heard, and took offense, to what had been said.

It didn’t look much like she was hiding, since she had the door open and was ostensibly just doing a thorough check up on all of her many plants. She was honest enough with herself though to know that she was hiding. If Temari-san had really wanted to have words with her then a closed door was hardly going to stop her.

Just... staying out of Temari-san’s way sounded like a real good idea right about now. So that's what Ino was doing.

Ichigo smirked. "Silence is agreeing," he told her.

"It is not!"

"Yes, it is," he argued and he wriggled, getting more comfortable on her bed.

She contemplated throwing a plant at him.

And decided he wasn't worth it.

"It's not. I was ignoring you 'cause you're too lame to pay attention to."

"Not lame enough that you won't steal my shirts," he told her. Or kiss him, he wasn't going to bring that up.

"Lame does not equal unattractive," she pointed out. "You should be shirtless more often."

Blink.

"You think I'm attractive?"

[intraspective]

"No," she said dryly. "I stole your shirt for fun."

Well.

That too.

Huh. he was ignoring the smart-assery and glanced down at himself.

"Huh."

That was just the hint of a smirk right there.

She snagged a rolled up pair of socks from the ground (they were clean, geez) and lobbed them at his head.

"Get over yourself, geez."

"Hey!" he protested, jumping up and away from the sucks. "Keep those stinkers with you!"

"They're clean!" she protested instantly.

"Says you," he grabbed her pillow to knock them off the bed with.

"I hate you," she sulked.

Ichigo grinned and flopped back down. "Nah. You're just saying that."

Ino pondered her options.

"See if I ever kiss you again."

More sulking.

That one dot on the ceiling was interesting. Was it a crack or maybe a shadow?

"You don't want to kiss me again, so it doesn't matter," he pointed out.

"You don't know that," she pointed out, fiddling with the leaves of a fern.

It was implied. "What have you been up to?" he asked casually.

"Kissing-wise or otherwise?"

That got him to look back at her, frowning. "That busy?"

"Busy," she admitted. "Not kissing-wise though."

Oh. "I don't care," he shouldn't have said that. He really shouldn't. "So busy training?" he guessed.

"You were frowning," she pointed out, frowning at him now. "So you cared at least a bit."

The other question was ignored.

He made a face and pushed up, moving to sit on the edge of the bed to face her. "You want to talk in circles some more?" he asked.
