Room 504, Thursday After Classes

[intraspective]

After class found Ino laying sprawled out on her bed and resisting the urge just to fall asleep. It would totally screw over her regular schedule if she slept now and woke up at, like, one in the morning. Instead, she was trying to study the notebook Kabuto had given her.

She wasn’t retaining much though. Ino buried her head in her arms and sighed. Was it later yet?

Ino left the door open in hopes that someone would stop by and help keep her awake.

"Sometime this weekend, maybe?" Ino suggested, "I don't think I've got anything planned."

"Sure," Lana said not having any idea what lay ahead for the weekend.

"Good," she said, equally unaware of anything untoward going on this weekend "how have you been other than a missed lesson? I hope things have been going well for you?"

"So far, so good," Lana said with a smile. "Everything's pretty much status quo. How about you?"

"Mmmm." Ino shrugged, "Business as usual, I suppose. Maybe a little busier but that's it. I'm glad it's going good for you though."

Lana smiled. "Me too. Well, I should let you go. I just wanted to check in and make sure you were okay."

[intraspective]

"Just tired," Ino said with a smile, "but that's easily fixed. I'll see you sometime this weekend then?"

"Absolutely," Lana said with a smile. "You take care!"

"I'll do my best!" She promised. "And you do the same!"
