Room 504, Thursday After Classes

[intraspective]

After class found Ino laying sprawled out on her bed and resisting the urge just to fall asleep. It would totally screw over her regular schedule if she slept now and woke up at, like, one in the morning. Instead, she was trying to study the notebook Kabuto had given her.

She wasn’t retaining much though. Ino buried her head in her arms and sighed. Was it later yet?

Ino left the door open in hopes that someone would stop by and help keep her awake.

"Another girl? I'm not a girl, Ino," Kabuto said flatly.

There was more staring on Ino's part. "You were talking about Tsunade-sama's body." She said slowly, "I never said anything about you being a girl."

"It sounded that way." Kabuto gave her an affronted look.

[intraspective]

"... how?"

"The way you said it," Kabuto explained vaguely. "Do you want me to be a girl?"

"Don't be stupid." Ino told him. "I like you the way you are."

"Good. Because while I could do it, it's a technique that I don't much care for." He smiled. "There's better girls around than me."

"Oh?" Ino asked archly, "Anyone I know?"

"I should hope so," Kabuto replied, poking her side. "If you don't know your own mind, I'd be worried."

She giggled and squirmed away from him. "I know what I'm doing." Pause. "Most of the time, anyway."

"Most of the time, perhaps." Kabuto agreed teasingly. "But what about the rest of the time?"

"Impulse driven." Ino admitted, leaning over to kiss him. "Whatever seems like a good idea at the time."

"What seems like a good idea at this time?" Kabuto asked, interested, kissing Ino again.

One hand went up to tangle in his hair, "What do you think?" Ino asked, then kissed him again.

"Mm? Think?" Kabuto asked between kisses. "What thinking?"

That made her laugh as she kissed him. "Thinking is bad," Ino agreed, "this is a lot more fun."

"It is," He agreed, running his fingers through Ino's hair and pulling out her ponytail holder. "Keep doing this?"

"Don't you dare stop," Ino said, tugging his hair loose from its elastic as well. "Don't you dare."

"I have no intention of stopping, as long as you don't want me to," Kabuto assured her. "But you have a roommate."

She buried her face against his shoulder. She’d almost forgotten that. "There's your room?" Ino suggested, "All nice and convenient... just across the hall..."

"There is. We could go there?" Kabuto was definitely okay with this. He slid one hand suggestively down Ino's side, resting it on her hip. "Just us..."

Ino kissed him lingeringly, then murmured against his lips, "Sounds like a plan to me..."

"Good," Kabuto said breathlessly, dragging Ino out of her room and toward his.
