Room 504, Tuesday Morning

Ino... had heard radio. Thanks a lot, radio.

Ino was now contemplating hiding in her room for the rest of the day just in case Temari-san had heard, and took offense, to what had been said.

It didn’t look much like she was hiding, since she had the door open and was ostensibly just doing a thorough check up on all of her many plants. She was honest enough with herself though to know that she was hiding. If Temari-san had really wanted to have words with her then a closed door was hardly going to stop her.

Just... staying out of Temari-san’s way sounded like a real good idea right about now. So that's what Ino was doing.

Hurley shook his head. "Dude, I would never have let Buster get into chocolate. Maybe you're thinking of, like, something else?"

"Maybe you are?" she said. "'Cause the Smarties I know are candy coated chocolate, maybe you're thinking of skittles, or something."

"The ones I know are, like, little rolls of kinda chalky sugar things," Hurley said. "And believe me." He patted his stomach. "I kinda know my candy."

Ino wrinkled her nose. "I believe you, but ew. I'll stick with the candy coated chocolate ones."

"Hey, I was young," Hurley said, even though this was, at most, four years ago. "I totally graduated to better things."

"Like what?"

"Oh, you know. Baby Ruth, Starburst, that sort of thing," Hurley said. "I kinda... eat a lot."

She grinned. "Candy is just that tasty, yeah?"

"Yeah," Hurley said. "It's something you can always rely on. Candy is awesome." He laughed a little. "I was gonna go shoot some hoops. So like, I guess I'll see you later? Unless, like, you wanted to come or something."

He smiled. It seemed polite to ask after he'd kinda butted in.

Ino had utterly no plans to leave her room today. She was hiding, dammit.

"Nah," Ino grinned. "Got more plants to care 'bout. Take care, yeah?"
