Room 504, Sunday Morning

“I am so glad you’re a kitten,” Ino told Liir after she’d listened to the radio broadcast. “Because, seriously, I highly doubt you’d be pleased.”

What, with radio speculating that Hannibal thought she was a whore and all of that. Ugh. And she still wasn’t sure how they’d managed to think that she’d been talking about, erm, bestiality with Jack. What was up with that? Seriously radio.

For now though, her brother was a kitten and she was more than content to just pet him and talk to him about lighter things--no need to mention how the conversation with Cal had ended, right?--and leave her door open in case anyone wanted to come by.

"Good point," Lana said. "I'll make a note on the spreadsheet then."

"...why do I get the feeling that this spreadsheet's going to hurt out crazy-complicated?" Ino asked, giggling.

Lana laughed. "Actually, there wouldn't be that many," she admitted. "Not that don't have enough strikes against them for whatever reason to keep them off my list."

"Hmmmm." She pondered that. "Still, imagine how odd that sheet would look to someone other than us..."

"Very true," Lana agreed. "Though at least three of the guys on the list wouldn't care at all. And since there would only be..."

She counted in her head. "Six, maybe seven... It wouldn't be too big a deal."

"True... but with all the data we'd need to calculate the odds, and then we'd still have to assign codes to it and hope that you remember the codes. I mean, if a guy has a seven or an eight on the list and you're telling me 'yes, you do want to go with him' I'm going to need to make sure of the damage control."

She laughed. "I'm only including the unattached, well, and the ones who aren't exclusive. And I don't think most of them would be interested anyway, so your job will be pretty easy."

"It'll need pictures too," Ino mused. "Just in case."

Lana laughed. "Two of them look just the same."

"...do they rate the same?"

Lana laughed. "Sure why not. Tell you what. I've got one 10 and three 9's. Everyone else gets shot down."

Ino giggled. "Do I get names of these people?"

"Well, the lookalikes you can figure for yourself, I'd guess," Lana said with a grin. "And the other two would be the only guys here I've slept with. Okay, well, there's three of those, but one of them is attached and therefore off my list. But really at the moment I don't think I'd have a shot with any of them. Well... maybe the last one."

Okay, now she had her eyebrows raised.

"Names?"

"Inoooooo.... You can't figure it out for yourself?"

"Nuh huh," Ino said, grinning. "You've got to say it, just in case I make a mistake and guess wrong. Don't want you going back with the wrong guy, you know."

"LucasTonyDeanandAlec," Lana said very quietly and a bit indistinctly. "And it's a moot point 'cause... because it's never going to happen."

"Expect the unexpected," she said, shrugging. "Gotta make sure, you know? I don't think I've met Alec?"

"He looks exactly like Dean," Lana mumbled. "And seriously, it's all a joke, right?"

"Totally a joke," Ino assured her blithely.

...while compiling a little mental folder of on what little she knew about the four guys that had been named. In a way... it totally wasn't a joke.

"Of course," Ino agreed. "Totally won't happen."

Not that it meant she wasn't going to keep an eye out though.

Ino leaned back against her bed, snugging with Liir-kitty for a moment.

"Hey, Lana? Can I ask you something?"
