Room 504, Saturday Early Evening

Ino had spent most the afternoon out hitting things after her detention. Now though, she was considering the bruises she’d gained from training and trying to decide if it was worth it to heal them or not.

Oh, who cared? It wasn’t like they were serious.

That done, she started trying to decide what to bring with her to Lana’s for the night. And, you know, Not Thinking about anything that had happened yesterday. Some parts had been good, very good even, but others had really failed.

Ugh.

[Up early for timezones, and expecting one. But door and post are totally open!]

He leaned back, looking up at her without moving his hands.

"If we have to. You know, I don't have a roommate right now..."

"Neither do I," she said, watching him carefully and not entirely sure what he was suggesting, "Anathema's left Fandom."

"And Brooke moved rooms. I was just thinking, you could come see me tomorrow."

[intraspective]

"And finish what we've started," she said, almost amused, but wanting to at the same time. "Do you think it's a good idea?"

She hadn't said no.

"No", he said, giving her a cocky grin. "But I want to, don't you?"

Ino eyed him for a moment, considering that he was flat on his back and she was on top of him, and very deliberately writhed against him.

"What do you think?"

Michael groaned very quietly and pulled her down for another short but intense kiss.

"I think that's a yes."

[intraspective]

"Yes," she murmured against his lips. "Very much so."

"Then I'll see you in the morning", he returned, not pulling back.

"Late morning," she had to correct, softening it with more kisses. "Training with Liir first thing..."

Okay, maybe the kisses were more interesting than the words.

He was listening, but it was true most of his focus was on the kisses.

"Late morning's good. I'll stay in bed."

"Careful," she murmured, shaking with laughter a bit, "don't get so confident."

But she was still kissing him.

"It's not overconfidence", he murmured, "when you already said you'll come."

"Saying you'll still be in bed is though," but her words were mild. "Expecting that right away..."

...it'd probably happen that way too. Shush.

She shifted, sliding off him. "You're going to have to let me go," Ino told him, with another kiss, "I need to start getting ready."

"You said", he objected lightly, kissing her back and then finally letting her go, "finish what we started. Not like it'd be the first time, and my bed's comfortable."

That got a warm laugh. "Oh, Michael..." Ino shook her head. "There are no words, honestly."

He looked up at her, abruptly uncertain despite the warmth.

"I mean, bed doesn't have to mean that, anyway."

She leaned over to trail one hand up his chest, and smiled. "Don't worry about it, seriously."

Well, if she said so...

The proximity also meant his hands went to her face and he pulled her down for yet another kiss.

Which she returned willingly, before she had to break it for air. "I've got to get ready, really now," Ino murmured, with another light kiss. "One more question though, any opinion on what you'd rather I wear tomorrow?"

"Do I get to look in your closet and pick something?" he wanted to know.

"If you'd like," she said, pulling away from him.

He couldn't resist pulling her back, just one more time, honestly.

"Okay. 'll leave it on your bed for when you get back. Don't have to wear it if you don't want, though."

Ino was so going to be late at this rate.

"I'll decide that in the morning," she said, kissing him and then getting up before he could tug her down again. "But so far, you've got free range of the closet."

...and Ino would severely hope, as it occurred to her, that he wouldn't notice any of Kabuto's shirts folded neatly on the top shelf.

He'd be focusing on her clothes. It would be okay.

"Good stuff", he said, leaning back to watch her.
