Room 504, Monday Evening

[intraspective]

By the time Ino got back to her room she had a headache from forcing herself to keep her temper. She opened the door, with slightly more force than was necessary, stepped inside then shut it. Oh-so-gently.

Then, almost calmly, she picked up one of her potted plants and flung it with all the force she could muster at the wall over her bed. The pot smashed satisfyingly but it wasn’t enough, not near enough, to make her feel better.

Another pot. Another crash against her wall.

How. Crash. Dare. Crash. He. Crash.

How. Crash. Dare. Crash. They. Crash.

Eventually she’d have to stop, either from running out of pots, or from spending her rage. Eventually she’d have to clean this mess up so she could sleep.

Eventually.

CRASH!

[Door is shut, post is very very open. ETA: Romeo showed up last, please. Everyone else is before him.]

"I might hit you," she pointed out in reply. "And why would you even bother helping?"

It was her temper talking.

He looked up at her.

"I don't care if you hit me. And I want to."

That was all there was to it.

"You're not one of the ones I want to hurt. No. Leave. It. Alone."

He kept looking at her.

"Then what can I do?"

[intraspective]

"Maybe," she said furiously, "you can't do anything. Like I couldn't."

"Well that's rubbish."

He summarily dismissed it.

He didn't move, however.

"Well, then," Ino snarled, "rubbish happened."

"It generally does," he said.

He looked at her curiously.

"Would you feel better if I was upset or offended or scared or something?"

There was, oddly enough, no teasing or even sarcasm to his tone. He just wanted to know.

She laughed. A ragged noise that didn't suit her.

"You couldn't possibly piss me off enough right now to make a difference in my mood." It wouldn't work anyway.

"If I was trying to piss you off, I would continue cleaning. You'll notice I haven't. Even if you're making very little sense."

He still had the pieces in his hand, though.

"Talk, fly, eat. Hit me, hit you, hit the wall. Silence. Screaming.

"I'm just not leaving, is all."

[intraspective]

Ino paused, glancing at the plant in her hand before resolutely chucking it at the wall.

"And why not?" It wasn't a demand for him to leave, but a question. "Why aren't you leaving?"

"Why should I?"

That got another plant flung--hard--at the wall.

"Why shouldn't you?"

"Because I have no reason to leave," he said plainly. "And I haven't seen you for a few days."

[intraspective]

A brittle laugh. A flung plant.

"I'm not fit for company right now."

He finally put the pieces down and sat on the ground.

"Well, no. You don't exactly lend yourself to small talk at the moment. Have you had a final yet?"

[intraspective]

"Missed mine today." She didn't care. "Deadpool-san was with me though, so I doubt I'll get marked down for it."

And if she did? Ino didn't care about that either.

"So it's to do with Cable-san then?"

He didn't press.

"Which class was that?"

[intraspective]

"Cable-san is a fucking moron!" Which answered that.

Two plants viciously smashed later, she answered the other question. "Criminal Justice."

"Does Deadpool-san agree?"

He was curious.

"He's the one who teaches Criminal Justice, right?"

[intraspective]

She snorted. "He's worse than I am right now." Fury-wise, at least. "He definitely agrees."

Ino was mad at Deadpool for a different reason than why she was mad at Cable.

"And--" crash! "--yeah. He's the teacher."

"Ahh," he said thoughtfully.

He pulled out a caramel and popped it into his mouth. Sour cherry and boozy vanilla. Then he leaned against the wall.

"What has he done then? Though if you don't want to tell me, you don't have to obviously."

[intraspective]

Crash!

"Deadpool-san knocked me unconscious," Ino said flatly. "when I wanted to pay my respects to someone who'd died."

There was more to it than that, but that was good enough for now.

"Have you paid your respects since then?"

"Not to his body."
