Room 504, Monday Evening

[intraspective]

By the time Ino got back to her room she had a headache from forcing herself to keep her temper. She opened the door, with slightly more force than was necessary, stepped inside then shut it. Oh-so-gently.

Then, almost calmly, she picked up one of her potted plants and flung it with all the force she could muster at the wall over her bed. The pot smashed satisfyingly but it wasn’t enough, not near enough, to make her feel better.

Another pot. Another crash against her wall.

How. Crash. Dare. Crash. He. Crash.

How. Crash. Dare. Crash. They. Crash.

Eventually she’d have to stop, either from running out of pots, or from spending her rage. Eventually she’d have to clean this mess up so she could sleep.

Eventually.

CRASH!

[Door is shut, post is very very open. ETA: Romeo showed up last, please. Everyone else is before him.]

Her hands clenched and she flung the plant violently.

"I didn't even get to see him."

"I never got to see Her either," he said honestly. "After."

"You got to see him alive."

"Didn't get that either."

It was one of the reasons it was such a big deal.

"Just once, in a picture."

"Ah."

He considered that.

"Do you still have the picture?"

[intraspective]

"It's Cable-san's."

That would be a 'no'.

"But you remember it?"

[intraspective]

That got a faintly incredulous look.

"There's nothing wrong with my memory." Her memory was excellent.

"I didn't say there was," he said.

He was quiet.

"Are you angry because he's dead?"

[intraspective]

Another incredulous stare.

"I'm angry at Deadpool-san." Not Caliban.

"Ahh."

He nodded.

"And is he the only one you're mad at?"

[intraspective]

"No."

"Who else are you mad at?"

[intraspective]

"Yondaime-sama," low and furious, "Cable-san."

"Ah."

A moment's pause.

"Are you going to do anything? Or will you vent your anger and go on as usual?"

[intraspective]

A sidelong glance. "It's not like what I do will matter to them." Not that she was bitter about that, really.

"But it will matter to you," he said.

Frankly, he didn't care about the others except in how they affected Ino.

"Yeah, well," she flung a plant, just to distract herself, "it's not like having my feelings trampled is new."

"It isn't in general," he agreed.

"Do you see any reason for it?"

[intraspective]

"Because I care more than they do."

Voice low, and furious. It was easier to get angry than to cry.

"They question your ability to be objective? Or they think it'll cause you pain?"

[intraspective]

"Who knows?"

With a pained shrug.

"They don't bother to tell me that either."

"Ah."

He leaned against the wall and tipped his chin up as he leaned his head as well.

That got a frown.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked after a few minutes.

"'Ah', a brief, noncommittal noise, said to assure you that I'm listening and thinking."

He looked at her.

"That's all."

"I'm not saying anything," Ino retorted crossly.
