Room 504, Monday After Lunch

After lunch Ino headed right back to her room, sprawling out on her bed and leaving the door wide open. She was expecting someone after all.

Stretching, she got off her bed and fussed with her plants. Ino was glad her room had been a strange-free zone this weekend. Especially if it made him feel more like talking. She hummed a little as she inspected her plants.

[Expecting someone specific, but sure, open. Come flail at Ino! ETA: For my sanity? Anyone who visits shows up before Michael does, because zomg there will eventually be diiiiirty in that thread. Eventually. Timezones permitting. Yay sp!]

"And Isabel's right," Ino said firmly, not letting go, "none of what you did this weekend was your fault. How could it be when you weren't yourself?"

"I guess", he allowed. "Funny thing is, I don't apologise when it's me."

That made her smile. "Well, when you're you then you know what you're doing." She pointed out. "So why should you apologize then?"

"True", he allowed. "...glad he didn't meet you."

"Oh?" She asked, raising her eyebrows, "What would he have tried with me?"

"Something you'd probably've had to kick him in the face for."

"I'd be sorry about it later, when you returned to yourself." Ino said, "But really really not sorry about it then."

"I wouldn't have blamed you", he said hastily. "Rath's an asshole."

"Well, I'm happy it didn't happen that way, at least." She said, smiling, "But I confess I'm happier that I didn't change into anyone different."

"Don't blame you for that, either. Even if a couple of people got lucky with who they turned into."

She grinned. "And some of it was pretty hilarious." Ino? Mock people openly? Never!

"Dean said something about being a plastic doll."

Michael would never mock his friends, either.

She snickered. "I'm amazed he didn't get stepped on."

"I think he'd have stabbed someone through the foot if they tried to step on him."

That only made her laugh harder. "That'd serve them right, I guess! But oh, imagine the pictures." She paused. "I wonder if anyone got any?"

"I didn't see anyone with a camera, but I bet someone got pictures somewhere. The squirrels probably know."

[intraspective]

"I bet I could bribe them for pictures." Ino said thoughtfully, "I'd totally shell out the money for rum, if it got me pictures."

"Bribery's always a good thing to do with your money", he agreed seriously.

She wrinkled her nose teasingly, "If you've got nothing else to work with, I suppose."

"Well, that depends who you're trying to bribe", he said with a crooked grin in return.

"What about you?" She asked, "What would it take to bribe you?"

"If you were offering?" He looked down at her consideringly. "I could think of a few things."

"Oh yeah?" Ino said challengingly, smiling, "What kind of... things?"

"What, you want an itemised list?" he asked, drawing it out deliberately.

Ino raised her eyebrows, "If you've got one, why not share it?"
