Room 504, Late Night Sunday/Super Early Monday

Ino was up, and wasting the time until Kabuto came back to her room by reading her younger self's books and facepalming over the idea that the things in them had ever been difficult to learn.

The door was cracked open a tiny bit, just like she'd promised, and surely it was getting close enough to when he'd be back? A thorough search through her own things proved that she had class first thing in the morning. She figured it might be fun to go, just to see.

Of course, that depended entirely on how tired she was. Hmmm.

Kabuto had almost forgotten how boring work could be after Lucifer had left Fandom. But he'd had something to look forward to. Coming back to the dorm, Kabuto knocked gently on Ino's partly open door before pushing it open. "Are you still awake?"

Ino smiled at him, "Would I have been so careless to leave the door open like that if I wasn't?"

"Maybe. If you were confident that nothing could hurt you. Which you are." Kabuto walked over to her, smiling. "At least, you should be."

"Well," Ino couldn't disagree with that, "I'm confident enough here. How was work?"

"Boring, of course," Kabuto told her, shrugging out of his cloak and leaning down to kiss her. "There were much more entertaining things I would've preferred to have been doing."

[intraspective]

She kissed him for that. It was a nice thing to say, yes. "Mmmmm. You'd rather spend the time with me I hope?" Ino looked amused, "I'm far more entertaining, I promise."

"You always have been," Kabuto assured her. "At any age, you're much more interesting than some bar." He slid an arm around her waist, pulling her close.

"Such a nice thing to say," Ino said, running her hands up the front of his chest and then reaching to pull his hair loose from it's band. "I'm happy you feel that way." She kissed him gently, teasingly.

"I'm very nice," Kabuto told her, feigning hurt that she might suggest otherwise. He'd almost forgotten how nice it was when she'd play with his hair. For someone as starved for affection as he'd become, it was very, very nice. "Tease," he accused her, grinning and kissing her again.

"Always," Ino murmured against his lips, "and you like it this way." She'd always loved playing with his hair, no matter what the actual status of their relationship had been. He had gorgeous hair.

He'd also continued to use the conditioner she'd practically forced on him when they'd been at school together. So of course his hair was great. "I do. I wouldn't want you to be any other way."

"I should hope not," Ino said, "seeing as how I'm not about to change." She ran her fingers through his hair and kissed him again.

"Obviously. You haven't changed that part of yourself in twenty years...though some other things have definitely changed for the better." It really wasn't cheating if she was married to him in another universe. Really. So totally not. Though he had a feeling his other self still wouldn't like it if he ever found out. Which, somehow, made it all the better. Kabuto liked making other people twitch; even if that other person was himself. Sortof.

Ino knew her Kabuto wouldn't like it. That was part of the fun. She'd probably tell him about it just to see him react. That would definitely be fun. And... well, this wasn't cheating, really.

It was still Kabuto, after all.

Laughter sparkled in her eyes, "So glad you approve."

A Kabuto was still Kabuto, right? Or did playing with alternate realities and completely different personalities still count as cheating?

Well, more importantly...did either of them really care if it was or not?

"Should I show you how much I approve?" Kabuto asked suggestively, not giving her a chance to answer before he pulled her into a much more heated kiss.

Well. There was only one way Ino was going to respond to that - which was, of course, kiss back. Just as heatedly. And press herself right up against his body.

She had a very nice body, didn't he agree? She certainly liked what she could feel of his.

Clearly, if Ino had any doubts about how her husband would react she wasn’t paying them any mind.

Oh yeah. It was pretty obvious that he liked her body...among other things about her. He left her briefly to hit the lights, then came back to more than make up for the short moment apart.
