Room 504, Monday Evening

[intraspective]

Paperwork was not Ino's very bestest friend ever, no.

Especially when she probably didn't know enough about the subject to fill in all the blanks. This was not stopping her from going through the pile and filling in anything she did know, mind, but it did mean she was gathering a list of questions that Ino was pretty sure the village only wanted so they could totally be insanely nosey.

Did it really matter if he had siblings, after all?

Ino was pretty sure he didn't, anyway, but that wasn't the point.

Once you'd ascertained that, oh hey, no they were not a threat to Konoha and yes were willing to swear on this, Ino was of the opinion that the rest of it was garbage.

This did not stop her from doing it, of course, but it did mean she was muttering to herself about utter idiots who needed a book written for a visitor as she steadily worked her way down the questions. Music was on, the door was half open and Ino was working on her bed.

"Oh definitely," she said, with a laugh. "But if it were the only way to break someone? Oh yeah, shoes all the way."

"Well, that explains their asking then." Or, you know, not.

Really not.

"Yeah, no--I don't think they're going to break someone I bring from school? 'Less, you know, they snap and try killing people."

"Well, knowing this place it's not quite as ridiculous as it might be otherwise, but... Yeah, doubtful."

"And yet," Ino sighed, "I still have to answer the questions."

SIGH.

"Do you like lurking in doorways?" That was an invitation to come in. Really.

"Not especially," Triela snorted. "Mostly I come through shooting, but I don't have a team to clean up the mess tonight so I refrained." Good thing it was an invitation, though, because she was totally walking in and finding somewhere comfortable to sit.

[intraspective]

"Lurking in doorways is more my skillset than yours," she admitted. "And my plants are grateful for your lack of violence."

Ino was... of mixed minds.

What?

She liked violence.

"They are rather nice plants," Triela allowed. "It would be a shame to ruin them."

"Huge shame," she agreed, tucking her pen behind one ear. "And then I'd have to have revenge, you understand."

"Yeah... and that'd be a shame too," Triela smirked slightly.

[intraspective]

"What brings you comin' 'round like this?" Ino asked loftily, rather than address Triela's comment. "Other than the awesome that is me, I mean. I understand that part."

"Nothing much. Just looking for a distraction." Triela made a face. Her last trip home had given her way too much to think about it.

"I can be used that way," she supposed. "I mean, with proper bribes and all."

Did Triela have a bribe?

Triela quirked an eyebrow. "Bribes, you say... What would you deem appropriate for serving as a distraction?"

Ino pursed her lips.

"Information?"

"The sky is blue," Triela informed Ino playfully.

Ino lobbed a pillow in Triela's general direction.

"Information I don't know!"

Triela dodged the pillow and grinned. Then she shrugged lightly. "Well, we've got a new girl at the Agency." She sounded... less than completely casual about that.

"Oooh?"

A beat.

"Cuter than you?"

Triela rolled her eyes. "As if that's even possible."

Though... "She is taller than me." She almost scowled. She was used to being the tallest.

Hmmm.

"Older?"

Triela shrugged. "I think she's younger, actually. But she definitely looks older." Of course Triela still looked about thirteen, so that wasn't really saying much.

"You don't like her?" Ino asked, raising her eyebrows.

Another pause for thought. "No, I like her fine, I guess. Or as well as I can when I don't really know her..."

"Her handler, on the other hand..." Triela made a face. Something about Alessandro rubbed her the wrong way.

"Evil?"

Ino grabbed her other pillow and hugged it. "Sounds like you had fun."
