Yamanaka Ino (Iris)

Triela was standing in the doorway looking bemused.

"I thought you must have been throwing a party up here or something." She looked around pointedly at the lack of other people to produce all that noise.

Hurley stopped by after he closed up shop at Groovy Tunes.

He knocked on the door.

"Hey," he said, kinda chuckling when he heard her.

Ino refused to be embarrassed.

"Why?" she asked, pausing in her dance. "'Cause I'm being loud?"

From:

"Hi!" she chirped, totally unrepentant about the noise. "Am I bugging you, or anything?"

From:

"An assault rifle is 'loud', Ino. You're being... I don't know the English word for it." But it was really loud.

(It was also possible that Triela was given to exaggeration for effect...)

From:

Hurley shook his head. "I was just blasting rap at the music store. Not like I can complain."

From:

She laughed. "But it's more fun this way!"

From:

"Well," she said reasonably, "you could, if you were trying to sleep yet. But that's good to know. Just get off work?"

From:

"Yeah," Hurley said. "Was doing some inventory and stuff, long day. You been up to much?"

From:

"Well..." Triela drawled out the word, then smirked.

"You certainly look like you are."

From:

"Clinic!" she said, doing a little twirl with the music. "And then, you know, wandered here and got bored, so I decided to de-bore myself and it's working!"

From:

"I am," she said, grinning. "And no one's stopped by to complain yet!"

From:

"And, what? You're just waiting for someone to?" Triela teased. "So you can ambush them?"

From:

"Maybe," she said impishly. "But that'd be telling."

From:

Hurley gave Ino a thumbs up. "I totally approve of singing. Always works for me."

From:

"Yes it would." Triela stepped forward mock-menacingly. "And you know you should be telling me."

It was a very serious threat. Really.

From:

"You sing?" Ino asked. "What do you sing? Just anything? I'm doing... whatever comes on the radio."

From:

Ino batted her eyes at Triela. "Nuh huh," she said. "I think you're the last one I ought to be telling."

From:

"Is that a challenge?" Triela tried to look menacing. She was usually pretty good at it, but that was when she didn't keep almost-smiling.

From:

"Pretty sure you'd get in trouble in the dorms if you tried anything," she said, sticking her tongue out.

From:

"I know some stuff," Hurley said. "I do a decent James Brown."

From:

Triela's almost-smile became an outright smirk.

"We'll just have to see, Ino." Which might be scarier if Triela were any good at coming up with good pranks.

It would... probably help if Ino knew who that was.

She laughed. "It's just fun to... be loud sometimes, don't you think?"

From:

"I live in fear," she said, totally not sounding it at all.
