Room 504, Friday Morning

[intraspective]

She had her window cracked open an inch even though it was rather cold, but Ino figured that, whatever, she could just toss a blanket over herself if she got too cold, and the fresh air made her feel like her room was less stuffy. And with the door to her room open, well, she had a nice bit of air flow running through her room.

As for her, she was sprawled out, stomach down, on her bed and rereading for the umpteenth time her notes on the scrolls. She was getting better at it! But ‘better’ still wasn’t ‘good enough’ in her opinion.

Ichigo, who was still a fox, was sleeping on top of her blankets and every now and then she’d reach over to pet him. Awwww.

Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. Okay, so he was, but it was fun and she liked it too. He wriggled some more, inviting some more belly scrubs while he closed his eyes. He wanted to sleep, but he felt a little dizzy and maybe he needed to eat.

He was always hungry, geez. But he was right that she really didn't mind petting him.

"I'm trying to study," she chided, nonetheless giving him belly scrubs because that was adorable.

She was always trying to study, geez. He started to stretch, but suddenly stiffened as that whole dizzy thing got worse and...

One moment there was a cute, fuzzy fox on Ino's bed, the next there was a tall, red haired boy who took up a whole lot more space than a cute little fox did. Not that Ichigo considered himself cute, he was... manly.

Oh, and naked. Very, very naked. He'd figure that one out any second now.

Ino blinked, retracting her hand in a flash, and blinked some more.

"...hi," she managed, voice a bit strangled with laughter as Ino was a lot quicker to notice the naked than he was.

Oh, it didn't take him much longer to catch on as well. It was easy to tell by the way he instantly flushed. A full body flush at that too and then he made a sort of squeaky noise that could have meant pretty much anything from 'what the hell' to 'zomg naked!!!!'.

It was followed by a lot of flailing and a made scrambling to try to get under the sheets. He only managed to fall off the bed instead.

And that'd be Ino putting her head down on her bed and howling with laughter.

Poor Ichigo. Sympathetic she was not.

"Don't look at me!" he bellowed. And oh god... "Why is the door open?"

He quickly tried to sit up and reached for one of the sheets on the bed.

Hey, hey, she was on that bed!

"Because," Ino was still killing herself with laughter, "I needed it for the air flow."

"There's enough air in here!" he objected, tugging harder at the sheets and didn't she see he was naked?

So what if he was naked? His reaction was funny!

"You didn't care when you were a fox!" she managed, as the sheets got tugged in his direction.

"I wasn't naked!" he argued, which might have meant that he had fur then or that he hadn't been naked when he turned into a fox. It didn't matter, he was already half under the bed and trying to get the sheets over himself while tugging more of it from under her. Not that it really worked all that well.

That was just getting more giggling.

"Sure you weren't," she said. "Because most animals wear clothes, right?"

"SHUT UP!" Because he had no counter argument and he was still butt naked. "Get off!"

She rolled off the other side of the bed, taking her notebook with her, and still way too amused at him.

"You need a better sense of humour, you know that, right?"

"I need clothes!" he argued, darting under the blankets the instant she was off the bed. "At least close the door!"

[intraspective]

"You are such a prude," she said, giggling as she ever so slowly got up and made her way to the door. "And I don't have clothes for you."

Liar.

"I'm naked," he argued, thinking he had a right to be a prude about that. "You have my shirt!"

"It's my shirt now," she reminded him, shutting the door. "You could always go toga style, or something."

"You have plenty of shirts in your closet!" he shot back instantly, having spent enough time looking through her closet for his shirt.

"Well, yes," she said, sounding eminently reasonable, "but they aren't boy-shirts."

Which, clearly, was a different class altogether.

"I'm not walking around the halls in a sheet!" he grumbled, glaring at her as if the whole naked thing was her fault.

"But you'd look cute," she teased.

"I DO NOT LOOK CUTE!" It was possible to hear the caps locks there and Ichigo might have been dying to shout just that for over a week now.

Almost two weeks, really.

"Not with that face," she said, before bursting into giggles again.

"This is not funny!" he stressed and then threw her pillow at her. Only to realised the sheet was sliding down and he scrambled to pull it back over his shoulders.
