Room 504, Tuesday Morning
Sep. 30th, 2008 08:46 amIno wasn’t feeling that great today, mostly a low-level blahness that was a precursor to an all-out cold or flu. She was lying flat on her stomach, sprawled out on her bed with a blanket draped over her, reading through her medical notes and wondering why on earth curing basic colds wasn’t one of the first things that was covered.
Seriously, people. She didn’t want to get or be sick. Why wasn’t there any information about it? Geez.
Ino huffed, and reached for her tea. Which had grown cold. Wonderful.
[Door is open a crack, post is totally open!]

Date: 2008-09-30 06:44 pm (UTC)"Still sleepy?" he asked curiously, wondering if he'd woken her up or something. But there were scrolls out and she sounded awake.

Date: 2008-09-30 06:51 pm (UTC)"Would you like another blanket?" he asked her.

Date: 2008-09-30 06:58 pm (UTC)Thick and dark and very very warm, it was also massive. It looked almost like a blanket, really.
"I have this. And there's an extra bed in my room, so I could give you that one if you'd prefer it. Or there's soup."
Chicken soup, good for the body and the soul.

Date: 2008-09-30 07:02 pm (UTC)Ino liked denial. It was shiny.

Date: 2008-09-30 07:03 pm (UTC)Liir liked agreeing. It was also shiny.
"But it would help keep you warm."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:06 pm (UTC)"If it's not a big trouble for you?" Though, really, considering who she was talking to...
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:08 pm (UTC)"Chicken, beef, vegetable, or fish base? I've got stock for all of them so it's no difference for me, your preference."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:15 pm (UTC)"Chicken?" she said.
...she still wasn't sick though. At least in her opinion.

Date: 2008-09-30 07:25 pm (UTC)And her consideration of sending a long letter back home to complain about the lack of cold or flu treatments for the beginning medic.

Date: 2008-09-30 07:28 pm (UTC)"Should keep you warm," he said. The bowl was still steaming a little, even.
"I know I hate being cold myself."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:32 pm (UTC)She settled for one blanket, and sat up a bit more. "Cold is evil."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:43 pm (UTC)"It certainly is. Wind is as well."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:46 pm (UTC)"You're awesome," she told him, accepting the bowl. "Thank you, and sit down, geez."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:51 pm (UTC)"Floor, bed, chair..."
He didn't particularly care. He was just glad to see her.
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:53 pm (UTC)As if she'd make him sit on the floor. And the chair was way over there.
Okay, it was, like, three feet away. That was too far.

Date: 2008-09-30 07:56 pm (UTC)"Looking for something specific?" he asked, noting all the, well, the notes she had out. It was how he'd worked on Ino's broom, all his books out and open as he searched on then the other for the information he needed.
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 07:58 pm (UTC)For no reason, really. Honest. Denial.
"Can you believe there's nothing so far?" And that was her being disgusted with her notes.
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 08:00 pm (UTC)"I've never heard of anything for that but warm food, bedrest, and plenty of fluids," he admitted.
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 08:03 pm (UTC)Ino did not much like that idea, really.
"I'll keep looking though," she said stubbornly. "There's got to be something."
no subject
Date: 2008-09-30 08:14 pm (UTC)"I've started instruction with Altra," he said after a moment. "Learning to handle my own abilities. And I've... actually taken to watching television."
That last one would probably surprise her, though not so much once he admitted what he was watching.
