Room 504, Saturday Morning

[intraspective]

A quick look in a hand mirror, after changing out of a set of alarming pajamas, told her that she was cute. That was comforting. It didn't do anything to jog her memory though... which wasn't so comforting. Nor had waking up and not recognizing where she was, or the realization that she didn't know who she was. The school books and papers on the desk had given her a name, 'Ino', but she wasn't sure it was hers. How had she gotten here?

She opened the door and sat on the floor, going through 'Ino's' things to see if she could learn anything more about her. Maybe someone else would come by and know her?

He'd awakened, like most of Fandom (though he didn't know that), not knowing who he was. He'd searched the super-clean and organized room thoroughly, finally finding a name written in a book on the desk. "Kabuto" worked for now, even though it didn't sound like a real name. Maybe his parents were cruel?

On the desk, he'd also found a picture of a blonde girl. It had a name on it: "Ino". Maybe if he found this 'Ino', she'd know who he was. If he had her picture, they had to be close, right?

He left his room to go looking for her, and, lo and behold, she was next door! Shifting his feet nervously, he knocked lightly on her open door. "Are you Ino?"

She looked up from searching through the books and smiled at the guy at her door. "I think so?" Ino offered with a shrug, "I'm not too sure of much at the moment."

"Do I know you?"

"I think so?" He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "I found your picture on my desk, so I thought I must know you."

[intraspective]

"You might? Having a picture like that makes it likely." Ino said, gesturing for him to come in, "How much do you know about you?"

"I think my name is Kabuto. But I also don't think my parents liked me very much, if it is." He laughed, shrugging.

[intraspective]

"You don't like it?" Ino asked while studying him, "I don't think it's a bad name."

"Really?" Kabuto smiled. "Thanks. So, um, weird question. Why would I have your picture on my desk? Are you my...girlfriend?"

[intraspective]

Ino went pink. "Maybe? I don't know why else you'd have a photo of me." And if he was her boyfriend? Ino totally approved of her good taste. "Were there any other photos?"

"Not that I saw. I think I'm kind of a neat freak," Kabuto admitted. "My whole room isn't very...personal. Maybe I spend a lot of time away?"

She went pinker. "I'd say then, we probably are a... couple."

"Oh, uh...okay. I just wasn't sure. But I'm glad." He smiled, leaving the doorway and walking over to her. "Because you're really pretty."

She beamed up at him, "You're not bad yourself, you know."

"Thank you." Kabuto leaned down and kissed her lightly.

Oh. Oh. Ino liked that just fine and did the only thing she could think of to do - and kissed him back.

Kabuto pulled back after a moment, grinning foolishly. "Do you want to go for a walk with me? I don't remember this place, so it might be a good idea to do a little exploring. But I don't really want to go alone."

[intraspective]

Ino was pink and smiling and right that moment a walk with her boyfriend sounded great. "I'd love to. None of this is familiar to me either."

"Great. That way we can spend some more time together." He kissed her again, slipping an arm around her waist.

Kissing Kabuto was something Ino wished she had more memories of. He was very good at it. "Where did you want to explore first?" She asked, leaning into him, "The hallway? Or perhaps the next floor down?"

"Let's start in the hallway and go from there?" Kabuto gave her a gentle squeeze. "It'd be nice to get an idea of where we're living."

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Ino said, smiling up at him, "We wouldn't want to get lost."
