Room 504, Monday Early Evening

After talking to Reno, and maybe considering if she ought to phone Romeo because she hadn't heard from him in a while and at the same time idly wondering if maybe she should get out and about for a bit because Ino really was bored and kinda missing the rush of adrenaline that came from killing monsters and really wished that she could, like, get a mission or something from back home and…

You know what?

Chocolate, jammies, and flowers. There. She was well set for the evening and if people wanted to entertain her, well, she was totally okay with that.

As no one had informed Hayley that messages had been misdirected or anything of the like, she was going to make good on at least one of the great calls she'd gotten the other day.

She showed up, wearing a dark trenchcoat, and knocked on Ino's door.

Normally, Ino was the sort who'd just be all 'come in' and stuff but she was in a good mood from talking to Romeo and kinda, well, bored and so getting up and bouncing over to the door seemed like a good idea.

She pulled open the door and tilted her head curiously at Hayley. They weren't, like, good friends or anything so why... well, it was always nice, having visitors?

"Hi! What's up?"

An astute observer would notice that Hayley seemed to be barefoot.

"Hi!" she said, grinning. "Mind if I come in?"

[intraspective]

Ino did notice the barefootness, but hey--it was the dorms, so why not?

"Uh," Ino shrugged and stepped back, moving to flop on her bed. "Sure, come on in, mind the plants."

The plants that took up more of the room than Ino's bed and desk did, really.

Hayley did enter, shutting the door behind her.

And then, well, she let the coat hit the floor. She was wearing not a stitch underneath it.

"Ta-da!" she declared, sort of naieve in her effort. She just seemed... happy. Like this was expected.

...

Ino... was. Well. Um. Going to first stare because what else were you supposed to do when someone did that without warning?!

And then the giggles tried to hit and Ino was just going to, erm, stare so more and maybe squeak something halfway between hilarity and 'what are you doing?!'.

"Um."

Hayley paused for a second. "That ain't exactly the reaction I was expectin'," she said. "This was your idea, remember?"

"...my idea?" Ino asked weakly, reaching for a pillow to cling to and try not to laugh her head off.

"Yeah!" Hayley said, crossing her arms. "You said to let you see me naked. That's exactly what the message said."

[intraspective]

Ino bit her lip, eyes sparkling with mirth.

"Well," she said, "um, your body is very, uh, nice?"

But Ino mostly liked boys. Unless you got her drunk and then she was rather more flexible.

"...I really didn't know that went to you, though."

Ino was just going to bury her face in the pillow and have her shoulders shake with silent laughter. Please, she thought, put some clothes on!

Hayley was just sort of baffled to the point of not really caring she was naked.

"What do you mean, didn't know it went to me?"

[intraspective]

Ino peeked up from her pillow and her lips twitched.

"The phones went whacky on Saturday," Ino explained. "I got a call 'bout some guy with wings and from Tyl--Mr. Durden 'bout flying cars and neither of them were directed at me."

Hayley made a face. "...so you didn't actually want this, huh?"

...er.

"Well," she said, striving for diplomacy. "I am... charmed that you actually went through with it."

"That's very sweet of you."

In some weird way and Ino was just going to die laughing later, yes.

Hayley bent over and picked up her coat, putting it back on.

"That just sounds like you're tryin' not to hurt my feelings," she said.

[intraspective]

That was about the case, yes!

"I am so not drunk enough for this," Ino muttered. Screw Reno, she was going to have to buy booze for herself at this rate. "I haven't lied," she said, because it was true. "It is--sweet. But surprising! I am very surprised!"

And stunned. And giggly. And facepalm~y.

"Sounds like somebody just likes boys," Hayley said, buttoning her coat. "Sorry to have disturbed ya."

[intraspective]

Facepalm. Facepalm.

"It's um, true, yes. I like boys. Boys are very nice."

Though to be entirely fair, a naked boy appearing at her door would likely have gotten much the same reaction at first.

Naked visitors deserved flailing.

"You're not bad, though--it's nothing, um, personal."

She wanted a drink. Driiink.

"Just feel kinda dumb, that's all," Hayley said. And lied to. Vaguely used.

Oh come on!

"No no," she said, "it's not your fault. I was talking to someone, but see, the message didn't get to the right person. It's a totally honest mistake."

As Ino lied to try and save Hayley's pride.

Hayley was occasionally clever. For her sake, it was good this time she wasn't, and not able to point out that Ino had changed her story.

"So... who were you tryin' to get naked?" she asked.

To her own astonishment, Ino went pink.

"Um. Really, I don't think--radio could here, you know."

"Pfffft," Hayley said. "If you tried to call him, what's to worry about him findin' out?"

Ino gave her a Look.

"Because I maybe don't want the rest of the island knowin'?"

Hayley raised an eyebrow. "What, is he datin' someone else or somethin'?"
