"I was just calling to let you know. I didn't want you to think that our fight meant-- meant more than it means. And I wanted you to know."

Not that she could blame him there.
"If you're not going to make him stay," she continued, "then I'm not much of a help. If you want hand-holding and support about how hard this is, Amber would be a better bet. I have no sympathy for idiots who do things like that to themselves, and one of the major reasons we're not on good terms is because I don't want to deal with picking up after you fall apart."

"I am sorry he's chosen to be an idiot," Ino continued, "but that's about it. Meeting him would probably wind up in disaster, so I don't know what you thought that would accomplish, and I quite frankly, am trying to avoid disasters like that.
