Room 504, the Causeway, then back in Alexandria -- Monday All Day

Ino was up bight and early and neatly dressed with her hair pulled back. And pacing, and making sure she had the things she knew she'd need.

Like her Dad's credit card.

And a bit of her money from working at Wellspring, but mostly her Dad's card. Dad, Ino knew, would totally understand if it was for weapons.

Now she just had to wait for Triela to show up and they could go.

[For the shopping buddy! Up early for crazy sp, and everything past the Causeway is NFB due to distance!]

"Well," she mused, "not here at least. Though back home windows are totally a concern." What with ninja being easily able to walk up walls and such.

Ino darted for the stairs, stepping up the first few of them lightly, "Race you!"

"You'll lose!" Triela laughed as she poured on the speed to the first landing and then planted her feet to simply leap up to the next one.

"Cheater!" Ino laughed, darting up the rest of the stairs in a rush.

"Can't cheat if there are no rules!" Triela laughed just as her next landing put her foot through a rotten board. She didn't go through, but her boot got stuck in the hole.

Ino? Ino was totally laughing at Triela now, as she reached the same landing and saw what had happened.

"Didn't I warn you about the building falling apart," Triela looked up with a sheepish grin. "This is exactly what I was talking about!"

"Yeah," she said, still laughing, "and that's what you get for jump all over the place!"

"I," Triela affected a haughty tone, "Was merely trying to illustrate how dangerous this place is."

Of course she promptly spoiled it with a giggle.

"Nice try," she said, giggling, "but totally not buying it here."

"Well, at least I can make a lesson of it." She let her voice shift to a slightly deeper tone, as if imitating someone, "Don't mess around, even in training."

Ino blinked, then laughed again. "Your trainer? I guess all teachers are the same, yeah? I've heard that before."

"Hilshire can be a real stick in the mud sometimes," Triela agrees with an expression torn between exasperated and fond.

With a quick yank she pulled her boot from the hole and frowned. "I liked these boots too."

"It's in the teacher Handbook, or something. You should hear Asuma-sensei sometimes."

Of course, that was mostly because she'd be trying to kill Shikamaru and Chouji into submission again.

"I'm sure Fandom will make it so we can find you another pair?"

"Oh, good point!" Triela suddenly brightened and nodded. "Besides, it's just boots."

"Let's go up one more floor."

Ino eyed the mood change, but whatever, okay.

"What's so special 'bout one more floor up?" Ino asked teasingly, already darting up the stairs.

"Nothing." Triela followed at a more sedate, and careful, pace this time. "I just thought it would be a good place to cut loose."

Pffft. Careful.

"Then why not the top floor?" Ino asked with a grin, pausing at the landing.

"Hey, you want the top floor, we'll do the top floor." Triela grinned and walked past Ino before teasing, "You coming?"

"Got you beat," she laughed, darting in front of Triela. "Totally."

"So you say," Triela laughed as she stepped up her own pace to keep even with Ino... for now.

"Totally," Ino insisted lightly, "even if you've totally got me beat in strength."

"Well, if you win, just remember that it's because I let you."

Suuuure it was.

"Uh huh," Ino laughed, "you just keep thinking that. Whatever."

"Hey, who's the teacher here?" Triela objected with a laugh as they approached the top of the stairs.

"I don't need a teacher to race up the stairs!" Ino laughed. "Just to shoot things."
