Room 504, the Causeway, then back in Alexandria -- Monday All Day

Ino was up bight and early and neatly dressed with her hair pulled back. And pacing, and making sure she had the things she knew she'd need.

Like her Dad's credit card.

And a bit of her money from working at Wellspring, but mostly her Dad's card. Dad, Ino knew, would totally understand if it was for weapons.

Now she just had to wait for Triela to show up and they could go.

[For the shopping buddy! Up early for crazy sp, and everything past the Causeway is NFB due to distance!]

"Because then I'd feel like a total pig?" Ino asked lightly. "What're you getting?"

"A salad," Triela pointed to a 'salad' that was mostly feta cheese and salad dressing.

"...not a whole lot of salad there from what I can tell, but hey, sure," she laughed. "Whatever, right?"

"Hey, it says 'salad' right here!" Triela insisted with a laugh. "You wouldn't call the menu a liar, would you?"

“Totally would,” she insisted, and was about to say more when their server came by asking for their orders. Ino, carefully trying to say the words—and the server having to repress a grin—ordered both her choices, she’d just push what she didn’t eat on to Triela or something. “Just water with that, thanks. Water for you too? Or something else?”

"Water," Triela agreed, leaning back in her chair.

"So, after lunch, you want to see if we can find somewhere to test out your new purchases?"

Ino waited until the server bumbled off before answering. "I'm doubting that, around here, there's anywhere, you know, legal we can do this. Even with Fandom being frighteningly helpful."

She leaned back in her chair though and grinned. "Not that I'm against doing it the other way."

Yeah, Ino pretty much thought this world's law was a joke. Breaking it? No problem.

"Hey, look how the trip's turned out so far. I bet we can find something."

"True enough," Ino conceded, "and we'll just have to figure out a way to tell Fandom we're thankful for it's weirdness or something."

"Oh, I'm sure it'll come up with something to make this all seem a barely adequate apology," Triela pointed out with a smirk.

She wasn't exactly kidding.

"I'm allowed to think on the bright-side," she said, with a toss of her head. "After all, most weirdness so far has just made me laugh or facepalm."

"Keep your fingers crossed then, and-- oh, here's lunch!"

Lunch turned out to be, as she discovered, quite good. "They certainly weren't kidding when they said that Greek was good, how's yours?"

"Want some?" Triela offered with a grin. "I could tell you it's good, but you should taste it for yourself."

"No, don't tempt me!" Ino laughed. "I've got more than enough to eat already."

"Then I'll just have to settle for telling you it's good." Triela laughed as she worked through her 'salad'. She paused long enough to confirm, "It really is."

"Excellent," Ino laughed. "It'd be way too sad if mine was good and yours wasn't."

"It totally would. I'd probably pout." Triela didn't even know how to pout properly, so this was a pretty empty threat.

"I'd feed you, don't worry," she assured her. "But I'd totally laugh in the process of it."

"You would, you big meanie," Triela teased.

"Do you think we should get dessert?"

"I'm totally not mean, come on," Ino insisted, "and no dessert for me, but you totally can if you want."

"Nah," Triela shook her head, "I'm fine. I'm not really a big dessert fan, anyway."

"Sure, sure," Ino wrinkled her nose cheerfully as the bill was given to them. "I'll pay, so you've got to figure out where we head for practice."

"Deal," Triela grinned. "Besides, with the way things have gone today this'll be easy."

And it was.
